A commitment to our team
Sintuco is a limited company whose main activity is the cultivation sugar cane, raw material that is sold to the sugar mills. It has a gross cultivation area of 1,414 hectares and a net area of 1,285 hectares, excluding streets and ditches.
The lands are located in the province of Ascope, between the districts of Chocope and Magdalena de Cao, department of La Libertad, devoting its entire net area to sugarcane cultivation.

Creating a new partnershipThe partnership was formed as a result of changing the business model from the cooperative model (Cooperativa Agraria Sintuco Ltda.) to a limited company, as provided by the DL 802. Sintuco began its activities on March 11th 1997, when its constitution was registered in the Public Records, sheet 8127, La Libertad.
On May 3rd 2007, Sugar Corporation of Peru SA (Coazúcar), a subsidiary of Grupo Gloria, acquired from Azucagro SA 45.29% of the shares of Sintuco and on the same date it also bought most of the shares of the Agroindustrial Complex Cartavio SAA, which had 14.49% of the shares of Sintuco. Thus, Grupo Gloria became owner of 59.8% of the social capital of Sintuco.
As part of Grupo Gloria, Sintuco provides Cartavio and Casa Grande with sugarcane and pest control wasps, "produced" under tight control by the National Service of Agrarian Health (SENASA).
